We are looking to recruit a Part-time Creative Designer to provide concept designs and sales floor plans/elevations as required by the design lead.
Key Responsibilities
Create high-resolution digital visualizations & concepts to a high standard
Create digital & physical mood boards & design intent for holiday homes & lodges
Proactively liaise with suppliers to ensure that all specified products are available, or choose alternative products
Monitor Key competitors to ensure the creative element of the overall design strategy are on track
Monitor market trends and competitors
Assist in updating of Design Catalogue, Product specifications
Proactively monitor and acts upon internal and external feedback to improve the design process and output
Assist in creating & presenting to staff and clients/customers design proposals
Provide detailed and accurate drawings & visualizations that are suitable for customer presentation and for production
Work closely with Commercial, Technical and Procurement teams
Ensure that all new products & designs are Designed for Manufacture and meet the Project budget.
Provide technical CAD data to suppliers, the technical team and BOM team where required
Attend shows, events & offsite meetings when required.
Perform admin duties as required.
Job requirements
Knowledge & Experience
Product/interior design graduate or industry experience
Able to create fabric & colour schemes
Knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes
Furniture design
Keen interest in interior design
Attention to detail
Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets Positive attitude
Mood board creation experience
2D AutoCAD / Autodesk Inventor experience
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or similar
Proficient in SketchUp software for generating concepts and final design visuals
Proficient in Microsoft packages
Ability to work proficiently under pressure
Able to work as part of a team

The role is advertised as a fixed-term contract on a part-basis (22.5 hours) to cover maternity leave.
