Accountabilities

Ensure all units are inspected and are manufactured in line with the customer’s specification. Responsible for liaising with the Supervisor and other operatives to ensure a safe environment and the quality standard is met.

  • Ensure all units are thoroughly inspected to review manufacture in line with the correct specifications.

  • Build good working relationships with production supervisory colleagues and other team members and to ensure a safe and productive environment for all.

  • Gather all relevant paperwork and certificates for units and check that all work has been carried out in accordance with batch card details, checking for damages and faults and accurate record fault descriptions.

  • Inspect the full unit to ensure it is cleaned to a high standard, checking furniture, fixtures, fittings and other loose items.

  • Final check of all snagging work to ensure it has been completed to the highest quality standard.

  • Work with colleagues across teams to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness and complies with company standards at all times.

  • Assist with housekeeping & 5’s.

Job requirements

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

  • Quality assurance background

  • Knowledge of BS3632 Willerby build specification

  • An awareness of 5 S and lean manufacturing initiatives

  • Experience of working within a fast paced manufacturing environment

  • Experience of working within a health and safety orientated environment

  • Experience of working within a team

  • Ability to organise, prioritise and structure daily activities

  • The ability to work with deadlines
